6067 حدثني محمد بن المثنى: حدثنا يحيى، عن إسماعيل قال: حدثني قيس قال:أتيت خباباً، وهو يبني حائطاً له، فقال: إن أصحابنا الذين مضوا لم تنقصهم الدنيا شيئاً، وإنا أصبنا من بعدهم شيئاً، لا نجد له موضعاً إلا التراب.
6067 Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna told me: Yahya told us, on the authority of Ismail, he said: Qais told me, he said: I came to Khabab, and he was building a wall for him, so he said: Our companions who have passed, the world did not lack anything from them, and we got something after them, we do not find a place for him but dust.
