[ 159] حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا الليث عن بن شهاب عن عروة عن عائشة أنها قالت صلى رسول الله ﷺ العصر والشمس في حجرتها لم يظهر الفيء من حجرتها قال وفي الباب عن أنس وأبي أروى وجابر ورافع بن خديج قال ويروى عن رافع أيضا عن النبي ﷺ في تأخير العصر ولا يصح قال أبو عيسى حديث عائشة حديث حسن صحيح وهو الذي اختاره بعض أهل العلم من أصحاب النبي ﷺ منهم عمر وعبد الله بن مسعود وعائشة وأنس وغير واحد من التابعين تعجيل صلاة العصر وكرهوا تأخيرها وبه يقول عبد الله بن المبارك والشافعي وأحمد وإسحاق

[159] Qatada told us, Al-Layth told us, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Urwa, on the authority of Aisha, that she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed the afternoon prayer while the sun was in her room, and the shade had not yet appeared from her room. He said: And in this chapter there are narrations on the authority of Anas, Abu Arwa, Jabir, and Rafi’ ibn Khadij. He said: It is also narrated on the authority of Rafi’ on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
