3644 - was a red gland like a pigeon’s egg غُدَّةً حَمْرَاءَ مِثْلَ بَيْضَةِ الْحَمَامَةِ

٣٦٤٤ - حَدَّثَنَا ‌سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الطَّالَقَانِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ‌أَيُّوبُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ ‌سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ ‌جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: «كَانَ خَاتَمُ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعْنِي الَّذِي بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ» غُدَّةً حَمْرَاءَ مِثْلَ بَيْضَةِ الْحَمَامَةِ

3644 - Sa`id ibn Ya`qub al-Talaqani narrated: Ayyub ibn Jabir narrated on the authority of Simaak ibn Harb on the authority of Jabir ibn Samurah who said: “The seal of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, meaning the one between his shoulders, was a red gland like a pigeon’s egg.”
