699 - he prayed for us on that day one of the prayers, while he was sitting, صلي بنا ذات يوم صلاة وهو جالس

[699] حدثنا أبو اليمان قال: أخبرنا شعيب عن الزهري قال: أخبرني أنس بن مالك الأنصارى أن رسول الله ﷺ ركب فرسا فجحش شقه الأيمن قال أنس رضى الله تعالى عنه فصلى لنا يومئذ صلاة من الصلوات وهو قاعد فصلينا وراءه قعودا، ثم قال لما سلم إنما جعل الإمام ليؤتم به فإذا صلى قائما فصلوا قياما وإذا ركع فاركعوا وإذا رفع فارفعوا وإذا سجد فاسجدوا وإذا قال سمع الله لمن حمده فقولوا ربنا ولك الحمد

[699] Abu Al-Yaman told us, he said: Shuaib told us on the authority of Al-Zuhri, he said: Anas bin Malik Al-Ansari told me that the Messenger of God, peace be upon him; He rode a horse, stepping off his right, Anas, may God be pleased with him, said, and he prayed for us on that day one of the prayers, While he was sitting, we prayed behind him while we was sitting, Then he said when he greeted, the imam was only made to be followed by him, If he prays standing, pray standing, and if he bow, bow, And when he stand, then stand, and when he prostrates, prostrate, and if he says, “God hears those who praise Him, say our Lord, to you our praise.
