Allah says

When Moses came to them with Our clear signs, they said, This is nothing but invented magic, and we have not heard of this among our forefathers. (36)

God Almighty says: When Moses came to Pharaoh and filled him with Our evidence and clear arguments that were proofs bearing witness to the truth of what Moses brought from his Lord, they said to Moses: This that you have brought to us is nothing but magic that you fabricated before and that you distorted as lies and falsehood, (And we have not heard of this) which you call us to in terms of worshiping Him whom you call us to worship, In our ancestors and our first parents who went before us.

A view of the verse

Moses - peace be upon him - is now a prophet and a messenger, do not hesitate or review more than that, He returned to Egypt with two miraculous signs from the Lord of the Worlds to Pharaoh and his entourage, the first word that came out of their mouths was magic, It is a word that is said when seeing unusual things, because this is what they understand from the world of people, and they do not believe in the sky or the God of the sky, Pharaoh claims divinity, so he will say anything other than what he sees as the truth in order to confuse those around him, (The people who support him) their religion and they continue to venerate it and worship it.

The second saying (We did not hear about this among our forefathers)

They are Egyptians, not the children of Israel, so no prophets or messengers were revealed to them before, the heavenly messages were sent down in the Arabian Peninsula and its environs, we did not hear that a heavenly message was sent down to Egypt, except that its good deeds were mentioned in the Qur’an.

(And Moses said) in response to Pharaoh: (My Lord knows best)

Who is right among us, O Pharaoh, who is false, and who brought guidance to the path of truth and clarification on the basis of clear evidence from him, and who among us has the praiseworthy reward in the Hereafter? This is an opposition from the Prophet of God, Moses, peace be upon him, to Pharaoh, by this, Pharaoh means that he will not succeed or prosper because of his disbelief in him.

A view of the verse

Moses - peace be upon him - despite what he was known for being quick to react and angry with the truth, he controlled his nerves when speaking about the message of God - the Almighty - with Pharaohو He told him what was mentioned in the noble verse, and he responded calmly and soberly, there is no defense of his honorable self, but rather an argument for God Almighty.

Allah says

And Pharaoh said, “O eminent ones, I do not know that you have any god other than me, so fire to me on the clay and make me a tower, Perhaps I may look to the God of Moses, and indeed I suspect him of the liars (38)

Pharaoh said to his people's nobles and masters

(O eminent ones, I do not know that you have any god other than Me.)

So worship Him, and believe the words of Moses in what he brought to you, that you and He have a lord other than me and an idol other than me, (So, O Haman, light a fire for me on the clay.) He said: Then make me a brick. It was mentioned that he was the first to cook bricks, He built the cooked pot on which it was kindled, made of clay with which they built buildings.

And he said: (Perhaps I may look to the God of Moses)

He says: Look at the idol of Moses, whom he worships, and calls for his worship (and indeed, I suspect him) While he says that he has a deity who worships him in heaven, and that he is the one who supports and vindicates him, When the edifice was built for him, he rose above it, so he ordered a crossbow and shot it towards the sky, She returned to him, covered in blood, and he said: You have killed the god of Moses. God is exalted above what they say.

A view about the verse

from Pharaoh, he is appointed the ministers, politicians, governors, and the like in his time, the public: those who fill the sovereign councils and who occupy the lead and first chairs in the councils, why did he call upon them and not the enslaved people (the Children of Israel), for example? Because he knows that the enslaved people now have a leader, (Moses and Aaron) and that they hate him and are waiting for the opportunity to attack him in any way, so he called on his entourage to support him (the stakeholders) whose interest is for him to remain in his leadership position, - He specifically called on his minister (Haman), to lay down the clay for him (an edifice: which is a palace or a high building) What does this mean? It means that Pharaoh had the technology of his time, so he used it to occupy the people and the common people. He is still a god. Whoever does not believe in the God of heaven, He must believe in something else, there is no void in the universe or in ourselves. If one thing is emptied, it will be replaced by another, whoever does not believe in heaven believes in materialism, and believes in what he sees with his own eyes or in the laboratory, each era according to its data.

Allah says

And he and his soldiers became arrogant in the land without justice, and they thought that they would not return to Us (39)

God Almighty says: (And arrogant) Pharaoh (and his soldiers) were arrogant in the land of Egypt.

About believing in Moses and his followers in what he called them to of the Oneness of God, and acknowledging their servitude to Him without right, It means transgression and transgression against their Lord (and they thought that to Us they would not be returned) He says: They thought that after their death they would not be resurrected and would receive no reward, there is no punishment, so they rode their desires, not knowing that God was watching over them, and that He would reward them for their evil deeds.

Allah says

So We captured him and his soldiers and We cast them into the sea, so see how he has been the end of the wrongdoers (40)

On the authority of Qatada: (So We cast them into the sea)

The sea was called Esaf, beyond Egypt, and God drowned them in it.

(So see what was the end of the wrongdoers)

God Almighty says: So look, O Muhammad, with the eyes of your heart: what was the situation of those who wronged themselves and disbelieved in their Lord, They responded to his Messenger's advice: Did we not destroy them and leave their homes and wealth to our guardians? We grant them the gardens, springs, treasures, and honorable abode that they had, after they were weak, their sons were killed, and their women were a live without husbands.

A view of the verse

1 - If you noticed with me that God Almighty diversifies the Qur’anic narration. Sometimes He brings you the details and another time He brings you the generality, in the same surah, it is as if - Glory be to Him - the Almighty - teaching you the benefits of speed reading, the major titles and some important points, and the summary so that you can grasp the whole story while your imagination and mind fill in the blanks.

2 - Al nabz: The throwing so far, O Lord (Pharaoh and his soldiers) who filled the hearing and sight with fear, discord. Yes, look at the size of the Nile of Egypt and you know that no matter how great people are in themselves, they are nothing compared to the power and might of God - Glory be to Him and Most High -

3 - Then the speech is directed to Muhammad - may God bless him and grant him peace - and to his nation after him (so see what was the end of the wrongdoers) Injustice is injustice, and it has nothing to do with your faith or lack of faith, Injustice has a possible earthly consequence if heaven is still pleased with you, or postponed in the afterlife and it takes a severe toll on it at that time. Injustice has a consequence worse than the consequence of disbelief, the disbelief is a relationship between you and your Lord, and injustice is a relationship between you and people, which is through forgiveness. Let us remove ourselves from injustices before it is too late - may God protect us -

Allah says

And We made them imams calling to Hell, and on the Day of Resurrection they will not be helped (41) (42) And We followed them in this world with a curse, and on the Day of Resurrection they will be among those rejected. (42)

And We made Pharaoh and his people imams to be followed by those who rebel against God and disbelieve in Him

They call people to the deeds of the people of Hell (and on the Day of Resurrection they will not be helped) the Almighty says: on the Day of Resurrection, he will not help them if God punishes them, they used to support each other in this world, but that support vanished on that day.

He said: They were cursed in this world and the hereafter. He said: It is like his saying: And they will be followed in this by a curse, and on the Day of Resurrection by a curse.

Make them an example to those who consider, a sermon to those who learn.

A view of the verse

Their stories are a lesson for those with understanding, for they are not stories for entertainment, rather, because history repeats itself, and you will see what began in life come at its end. God Almighty, not only did he make Pharaoh's family outcasts in the sea, but he also made them imams in hell, (Leaders who call out their likes and cause them to enter Hell)   - May God protect us with His grace - and on the Day of Resurrection, they will not find anyone to support them.

Allah says

And We gave Moses the Scripture after We had destroyed the first generations,Insights for people and guidance and mercy so that they may remember (43)

The Almighty said: (And We gave Moses) the Torah (after We had destroyed)

The nations that were before him, such as the people of Noah, Ad, Thamud, the people of Lot, and the companions of Midian, (Guidance for the people) says: Light for the children of Israel regarding what they need in the matter of their religion (and guidance).

He says: And as a clarification to them and a mercy to those of them who act upon it (that they may remember). He says: So that they may remember God’s blessings upon them, and thank Him for them and not disbelieve.

On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, he said

God did not destroy a people with punishment from the heavens or from the earth after the Torah was sent down on the face of the earth other than the town in which they were turned into monkeys, Have you not seen that God says: (And We gave Moses the Scripture after We had destroyed the first generations,   Insights for people and guidance and mercy so that they may remember.
