 2313 ] حدثنا سعيد بن الربيع حدثنا شعبة عن الأشعث بن سليم قال : سمعت معاوية بن سويد سمعت البراء بن عازب رضى الله تعالى عنهما قال أمرنا النبي ﷺ بسبع ونهانا عن سبع فذكر عيادة المريض واتباع الجنائز وتشميت العاطس ورد السلام ونصر المظلوم وإجابة الداعي وإبرار المقسم

[2313] Saeed bin Ar-Rabi told us, Shu’bah told us, on the authority of Al-Ash’ath bin Sulaym, he said: I heard Muawiya bin Suwayd, I heard Al-Bara bin Azib, may God Almighty be pleased with them both, said: The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, commanded us to do seven things and forbade us from seven, so he mentioned visiting the sick And following funerals, and saying, “May God not gloat with anyone over "who sneezes" respond to salute, victory of the oppressed, answer the caller,approval of the one who swears.
