[ 2808] حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحاق عن هبيرة بن يريم قال قال علي نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن خاتم الذهب وعن القسي وعن الميثرة وعن الجعة قال أبو الأحوص وهو شراب يتخذ بمصر من الشعير قال هذا حديث حسن صحيح

القسي: الدراهم: الذي خلطت فضته بمعدن آخر أرخص من

الميثرة: مركبٌ للعجَم كان يُتَّخذ من الحرير والدِّيباج

الجعة: البيرة

[2808] Qutaybah narrated to us, Abu Al-Ahwas narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Ishaq, on the authority of Hubayrah bin Yareem, who said: Ali said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade gold rings, and bows (dirhams: whose silver is mixed with another metal that is cheaper than), and Mithra (a Persian mount that was made of silk and brocade), and beer. Abu Al-Ahwas said: It is a drink made in Egypt from barley. He said: This is a good and authentic hadith.
