What is happening now in the Levantine lands, especially beloved Palestine, is evidence of the saying of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, that the greatest battles will come from there. As for the hadith before us, Palestine was abundant with natural bounties, as were the Levant and Yemen, which were once prosperous. Now, Oh God, relieve the distress of the people of the Levant, strengthen their hearts, and establish their feet on the truth until they meet YOU without any suspicion of polytheism in their hearts, win on who let them down
