415 - The Praying in homes

-3-14 - Chapter: The Praying in homes.

Al-Bara bin Azib prayedin his mosque in his home (congregation)

415 - Said bin Afair toldus, he said: Al-Laith told me, he said: Aqeel told me, on the authority of IbnShihab, he said: Mahmoud bin Al-Rabee’ Al-Ansari told me: That Atban bin Malik, who is one of the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him andgrant him peace, Among the Ansar who witnessed Badr: He came to the Messengerof God, peace and blessings be upon him, and said: O Messenger of God, I havelost my sight, and I am praying for my people, and when it rains, the valleybetween me and them flow, I could not go to their mosque and pray with them, and I wished, O Messenger of God, that you would come to me and pray in my home,so I would take it as a place of prayer. He said: The Messenger of God, peacebe upon him, said to him: (I will do, God willing), Atban said: Tomorrow the Messengerof God, peace be upon him, and Abu Bakr, when the day had risen, so theMessenger of God, peace be upon him, sought permission, and I gave him permission,He did not sit until he entered the home, then he said: (Where would you likeme to pray from your home), He said: So I pointed to one side of the home, sothe Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, got up and saidthe takbeer, So we got up and lined up, prayed two rak'ahs, then gave thesalutation. He said: And we imprisoned him on a Khozira (like a small rug) thatwe made for him. He said: The men of the home, many in number, returned to the home,So they gathered, and one of them said: Where is Malik bin Al-Dukhish or IbnAl-Dukhish? Some of him said: This is a hypocrite who does not love God and HisMessenger. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (Don'tsay that, don't you see him saying there is no god but God, he wants the faceof God). He said: God and His Messenger know best. He said: We see his face andhis advice to the hypocrites. The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be uponhim, said: (Verily, God has forbidden the Fire of those who say there is no godbut God, seeking God’s face by that). Ibn Shihab said, then I asked al-Husaynibn Muhammad al-Ansari, who is one of Banu Salem, and he is one of their clans, about the hadith of Mahmoud ibn al-Rabi`, and he honest it.

The Exploration of the noble Hadith:

1- The Companion - Atban bin Malik - one of the witnesses of the Battle of Badr, all of whom were testified of their faith, was keen to pray in the mosque evenafter losing his sight.

2-The humility of the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him- who is the head of the state in the concept of the age, to solve a problemfor one of his companions

3-the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - asking apermission in which direction to pray in his home, So that he would not imposeon him a place that would expose the house or something else that would annoythis companion after a while, and he might feel embarrassed by the Messenger ofGod forcing him to impose a specific place, so the Messenger - may God’sprayers and peace be upon him – removed this embarrassment before he began.

4- So men from the people of the house returned to the house with a number:their spread in the home - other than the places of the private parts of theinner rooms is a legitimate matter as long as he took his home as a prayer forpeople.

5 - Their question about (Malik bin Al-Dakhish) and their sayingabout him that he is one of the hypocrites because he advises the hypocritesand it seems that he was always with the hypocrites (his face) does notindicate that he lost his faith and entered into hypocrisy at all, and theMessenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - refused todescribe him as hypocrisy just because he is among the hypocrites - life isonly interests, and perhaps he has an interest with the hypocrites, and he isan sound faith, 6 - Proof from the Messenger - may God’s prayers and peace beupon him - that whoever says (there is no god but God) sincerely from his heartand is not under compulsion, do not describe him as unbelief or hypocrisy atall - it is not your right as a Muslim.

7-Today there are foreigners who enter Islam - and the circumstances of his lifeor work prevent him from leaving his home or leaving his work or the peoplearound him and he keeps the faith entirely within his heart, and the Messengerpredicts at the end of time that the infidels and the believer, They will sitin one home - this hadith will come in its place - God willing. do not judgeanyone by the circumstances of your life, just only thank God for your good circumstances.

8-Of course, it is permissible to pray at home (group) or even individually
