[327] Abdullah bin Yusuf told us, he said: Malik told us on the authority of Abdul Rahman bin Al Qasim on the authority of his father on the authority of Aisha, the wife of the Prophet, peace be upon him, She said: We went out with the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, on some of his travels, even if we were in the desert or in the army, my necklace was cut off, so the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, set out to search for it, and the people stayed with him, and they were not on water, so the people came to Abu Bakr as-Siddiq and said: Do you not see what Aisha did? she stayed with the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, and the people were not on water, and they had no water, Abu Bakr came and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was sleeping with his head on my thigh, and he said: I have locked up the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while the people are not on water, and they have no water, Aisha said, Abu Bakr blamed me, and said: What God willed to say, and he started to stab me in my waist with his hand, nothing prevents me from moving except the place of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, on my thigh, The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, got up when it was morning without water, and God revealed the verse of tayammum, so they perform tayammum, Usayd bin Al-Hadair said: What is your first blessing, O family of Abu Bakr? She said, We moved the camel that I was on, so we saw the necklace under it.

First: eat dirt
What is dirt?

What exactly is the contents of dirt made of? Dirt (also called soil or earth) contains a mixture of rock, clay, sand, and other organic matter, and dirt is usually filled with minerals and various microorganisms. Depending on your location, the amounts of these materials will vary, as will the types of materials the dirt is made of dirt.

Dirt Benefit #1: Strengthens the immune system

One of the primary benefits of dirt is that it supports a healthy immune system. The New York Times reports on the "hygiene hypothesis," which explains that dirt contains millions of bacteria and viruses that actually help develop a healthy immune system.

Dirt Benefit #2: Detoxifies the body

Dirt may actually detoxify the body – people use clay and charcoal to detoxify their skin, but these same properties found in dirt may also act as a detoxifying agent from within the body as well. Scientific American reports, "Researchers take another look at eating dirt and discover that the behavior often supplies people and animals with vital minerals and dampens the activity of toxins from food and the environment."

It may benefit pregnant women

People have eaten dirt and mud for centuries - all too often, the people who find themselves craving dirt are pregnant women. ABC News reports that, “While most people hold back from the idea of eating mud or clay, some medical experts say it may be beneficial, especially for pregnant women.” Dirt, especially in areas rich in mud, contains a lot of essential minerals such as magnesium and copper. calcium and iron, which explains why pregnant women crave it—their bodies need more minerals than usual because they created another human life: In pre-industrial times, just a handful of dirt might do the same job as a prenatal vitamin

#4: Helps Prevent Allergies

With allergies, we return to the hygiene hypothesis, as ABC News explains that research has found that children who grew up in rural environments, especially on farms, have significantly fewer allergies and autoimmune disorders than children who were born and raised in cities. "Some researchers believe exposure to soil and other environmental impurities is to blame," they explain.

Dirt Benefit #5: May settle in the stomach

If you've ever had an upset stomach, you may have taken an over-the-counter medication that tastes "chalky" like an antacid, because it was probably made from kaolin, the primary substance in white clay. Antacid properties, which can relieve nausea, acidity and indigestion.

Dirt Benefit #6: Helps Smooth Digestion

You may have heard of the "gut microbiome," the tiny ecosystem of good bacteria that live in the digestive system and help keep digestion moving smoothly. And exposure to dirt can cause your microbiome to flourish by encouraging new, healthy bacteria to develop and grow, according to this. Additionally, clay has binding properties that can help when you suffer from loose bowel movements, however, it can also make you constipated if you consume too much.

Do you really have to eat dirt?

Toxic substances such as pesticides and lead may also be present in the dirt, so you should not eat dirt from the ground. Alternatively, you can buy a supplement of ground or clay that will give you some benefits. Just introduce a little dirt into your daily life. Rinse organic fruits and vegetables with water, but do not take extreme measures to sanitize them; swim in the ocean; Walk barefoot, play with the dogs, and allow yourself to get a little dirty from time to time.

Secondly: Dirt is an antidepressant

No one will blame you for not wanting to infect your body with creatures from your garden. But maybe you should rethink your position.

In a research paper published in 2007 in the journal Neuroscience, Lowry and his team wrote that bacteria activate groups of neurons in the brains of mice that are responsible for producing serotonin — a neurotransmitter that can cause depression when exposed to infection. Even more interesting, the neurons that lit up were also known to be associated with the immune response, suggesting an intimate connection between the immune system and emotional health. Scientists are finding more and more evidence that depression and other mental health conditions are linked to prolonged inflammation — a sign Confirmed that there is a problem with the immune system.

Treatment for some cancerous tumors

In 2004, Mary O'Brien, an oncologist at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, published a paper with unexpected results: She injected lung cancer patients with a common harmless soil bacterium, the Mycobacterium vaccine, to see if it could extend their lives. M. Vaccae has had some success in previous trials where it tested its ability to fight drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis and boost the immune system's response. O'Brien believed that the bacteria could help her patients' immune systems beat the cancer in their lungs. I failed. Only, it worked elsewhere: an injection of bacteria "significantly improved the patient's quality of life," O'Brien wrote in the research paper detailing the findings. Her patients were happier, more energetic, and had better cognitive functioning—in short, this reduced the emotional toll of advanced cancer.

There are many, many studies on this subject that you can research on your own, but the idea of tayammum in Islam is not an idea that lags behind the current data, as some claim.

ِAnd, Note

1 - that tayammum was originally prescribed for disease, and dirt is considered a natural detox - in the language of the era - who taught the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him?!!

2 - Also note that God - the Most High - when He chose the upbringing of the Messenger of God is not in Medina or Mecca (the best country of God with God), but chose the desert for him to grow up in the bosom of nature.
