The killing of Othman bin Affan - may God be pleased with him

His killing was on the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah 35 AH at the hands of a rogue group of nearly two thousand. Their goals and whims differed, but they all agreed to isolate him first and then to kill him after that, and all of them are his killers, However, those who initiated his killing were: Kinana bin Bishr al-Tujibi, and he was the one who slaughtered him: and it was said that Sudan bin Hamran al-Sukuni, after Qutira al-Sukuni stabbed him nine times with a dagger, and the one who started hitting him, after the people became terrified of that because he was reading the Qur’an, was Al-Ghafiqi bin Harb Al-Akki. He hit him with the sword and kicked the Qur’an with his foot, so he fell in his lap, and a drop of blood fell on his saying: God will suffice you for them [Al-Baqara: 137]. And those mentioned are from the people of Egypt, they were joined by a group from the people of Basra, such as Harqus bin Zuhair Al-Saadi and Hakim bin Jabala, and from the people of Kufa, a group such as Al-Ashtar Malik bin Al-Harith Al-Nakhai.

The spectrum of human cruelty appears to have fluid boundaries based on the escalation of mass violence.

According to the FBI, the homicide rate was 5.3 individuals per 100,000 inhabitants in 2016, an increase of 7.9 percent compared to the 2015 rate. The frequency of violence partially offsets the population growth in the United States from 267.7 million in 1996 to 323.1 million in 2016, which It means that the probability of becoming a victim of violent crime has decreased, but the death toll has not decreased. Regardless of their frequency, concerned officials and citizens ponder the motives for violent crime in a vain attempt to reduce the frequency of the tragedy.

Some of the most common triggers reported (but not causes) include:

anarchism

personal revenge

Revenge for the abuse or "injustice"

Moral corruption

demonic possession

Not having a conscience

the talkback

1 - The witness from all of the above, including the relevant study, we find that the murderer has logical reasons in his eyes only, and whoever is far from the scene of the murder has another, more neutral look, but whoever wants to kill will find the reasons flashing before his eyes, we do not agree with the murderers of the martyr Othman Bin-Affan - May God be pleased with him and make him satisfied - the owner of spending on the army of Al-Usra, the owner of the well of Rumah, the owner of liberating a slave from the slaves every Friday and other great feats that rarely come together in one man except that he is the fourth of four who entered Islam. They felt right.

2 - Someone may say: Why did God not suffice him from the evil of these mobs, who came from all sides and sides until they approached two thousand men against one man, with the value of Othman bin Affan? God alone knows, we will not say that they were all killed, and his honorable blood was a curse upon everyone who participated in his killing, but we say that deliberate killing and oppression are one of the laws of this universe, as the universe began with the killing of one brother by another, Abel to habel, so what do we think about the offspring of Adam - peace be upon him, and among them are the red, the white and the black, and among them are the easy ones, and among them are the evil souls.

3- Not everyone who enters Islam is a true religion and a true faith, and if this is true for him, he may not reach the ultimate goal at death (except for those who come to God with a sound heart). a sound heart is the fruit of work, understanding and application of the tolerant religion, as for staining your right hand with the blood of the fourth of the four who entered Islam and saying, “I am a good Muslim,” this is inevitably a miracle.

4 - We must know that the territory of the Islamic state has expanded, and we know that those who entered Islam are many, and not everyone who witnesses the two testimonies of faith is a true Muslim, so some of them enter to be liberated from slavery, perhaps, like those who were freed by Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, and some of them converted to Islam in order to corrupt the religion and its people, their religion by causing enmity and resentment between them, and so on.

5 - As for the suspicion that our master Othman - was soft and was not as strong as Omar Ibn Al-Khattab - may God be pleased with them both, we remember together the hadith of the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace (Gentleness is not in anything but that it beautifies it, and it is not removed from anything except that it disgraces it) and the hadith, (The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Oh God, whoever is given authority over something of my nation’s affairs and is hard on them, then be hard on him, and whoever is given charge of something of my nation’s affairs and is kind to them, be kind to him.” Narrated by Muslim.) And from these two noble hadiths: We say: Oh God, do not We owe our sins to those who do not fear you and do not have mercy on us. Mercy is only removed from a wretched heart. As for the merciful, God will have mercy on them.

6 - Have you looked at the world today? Do you know the number of slaves that exceeded 10 million slaves around the world, including women and children? Have you heard of a king or head of state freeing a slave from slaves every Friday? The merciful will be shown mercy by the most merciful.

In the end

May God have mercy on one of those who are given the glad tidings of Paradise, and may God accept him in the highest of the highest, and we can only say: There is neither might nor power except with God, that the law of killing is in the neck of the first son of Adam, and so is everyone who begged him to kill innocent people for personal or impersonal purposes.
