فماذا فعل خالد بن الوليد -الذي لم يكن قد أسلم بعد- حين رأى الجبل خالياً من الرماة؟

فسارع إلى الالتفاف حتى وصل إلى مؤخرة الجيش الإسلامي، فأباد عبد الله بن جبير ومن معه (كانوا عشرة)، ثم هجم على المسلمين من خلفهم، وحاصر المسلمين.


مقتل أبي بن خلف

نعلم أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قتل أحدا بالسيف، وإنما قتل أبي بن خلف بحربة رماه بها، وقد قتله يوم أحد بعد أن أقبل أبي يبحث عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ويقول: لا نجوت إن نجا ـ قال عبد الرزاق الصنعاني في مصنفه: وأما أبي بن خلف فقال: والله لأقتلن محمداً، فبلغ ذلك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال: بل أنا أقتله ـ إن شاء الله ـ قال: فانطلق رجل ممن سمع ذلك من النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى أبي بن خلف فقيل له: لما قيل لمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم ما قلت قال: بل أنا أقتله ـ إن شاء الله ـ فأفزعه ذك، وقال: أنشدك بالله أسمعته يقول ذلك؟ قال: نعم، فوقعت في نفسه، لأنهم لم يسمعوا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول قولاً إلا كان حقاً، فلما كان يوم أحد خرج أبي بن خلف مع المشركين فجعل يلتمس غفلة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليحمل عليه، فيحول رجل من المسلمين بينه وبين النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فلما رأى ذلك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال لأصحابه: خلوا عنه فأخذ الحربة فجزله بها ـ يقول رماه بها ـ فيقع في ترقوته تحت تسبغة البيضة وفوق الدرع فلم يخرج منه كبير دم واحتقن الدم في جوفه فجعل يخور كما يخور الثور، فأقبل أصحابه حتى احتملوه وهو يخور وقالوا: ما هذا؟ فوالله ما بك إلا خدش، فقال: والله لو لم يصبني إلا بريقه لقتلني، أليس قد قال أنا أقتله إن شاء الله؟ والله لو كان الذي بي بأهل ذي المجاز لقتلهم، قال: فما لبث إلا يوماً أو نحو ذلك حتى مات إلى النار..

When was the Battle of Uhud?

The killing Abi bin Khalaf

We know that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, killed someone with a sword, but he killed Abi bin Khalaf with a spear that he threw at him. He killed him on the day of Uhud after Abi came looking for the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: I will not be saved if he is saved. Abd al-Razzaq al-San’ani said in his Musannaf: As for Abi bin Khalaf, he said: By God, I will kill Muhammad. News of that reached the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said: Rather, I will kill him, God willing. A man who had heard that from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, went to Abi bin Khalaf and told him: When Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, was told what you said, he said: Rather, I will kill him, God willing. That startled him and he said: I ask you by God, did you hear him say that? He said: Yes. That occurred to him, because they had never heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, say anything except that it was right, on the day of Uhud, Ubayy ibn Khalaf went out with the polytheists and began to seek out the attention of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) so that he could attack him. A Muslim man would come between him and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). When the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw that, he said to his companions: “Leave him alone" So he took the spear and stabbed him with it - he said: “He shot him with it.” It hit his collarbone, under the crown of his head and above the armour, but not a lot of blood came out of him. The blood gathered in his stomach and he began to bellow like a bull. His companions came and carried him while he was bellowing and said: “What is this? By Allaah, you have only a scratch.” He said: “By Allaah, if nothing had hit me except his saliva, it would have killed me. Did he not say: ‘I will kill him, if Allaah wills?’ By Allaah, if what I have had was with the people of Dhu’l-Majaz, he would have killed them.” He said: “He did not stay for more than a day or so until he died in the Fire.
