- Chapter on the virtues of Al-Hassan and Al-Hussein bin Ali bin Abi Talib, may God be pleased with them
هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ. 3767 - Abu Ahmad Hatim ibn Sayyar al-Marwazi narrated: Abd al-Razzaq narrated: Ma`mar informed us, on the authority of Ibn `Ajlan, on the authority of Yazid ibn Qusayt, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, who said: “We used to call upon Ja`far ibn Abi Talib,” may God be pleased with him, The father of the needy, so whenever we came to him, we would bring to him whatever he had prepared. One day we came to him and he did not find anything with him, so he brought out a jar of honey and broke it, and we began to lick from it. This is a strange hadith from the hadith of Abu Salamah on the authority of Abu Hurayrah.
- The virtues of Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf al-Zuhri, may God be pleased with him
Salih ibn Mismar al-Marwazi narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Fudayk narrated to us, on the authority of Musa ibn Yaqub, on the authority of Umar ibn Sa`id, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Humayd, on the authority of his father, that Sa`id ibn Zayd narrated to him, in a group, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Ten are in Paradise: Abu Bakr is in Paradise, Umar is in Paradise, Uthman, Ali, and al-Zubayr.” And Talha, Abd al-Rahman, Abu Ubaidah, and Sa`d ibn Abi Waqqas, He said: So he counted these nine and remained silent about the tenth. The people said: We ask you by God, O Abu Al-Awar, who is the tenth? He said: You ask me by God, Abu Al-Awar is in Paradise. Abu Al-Awar is Saeed bin Zaid bin Amr bin Nufail. And I heard Muhammad say: It is more authentic than the first hadith.
- The virtues of Saad bin Abi Waqqas
His saying: (And he is Sa`d ibn Malik) meaning the name of Abu Waqqas is Malik ibn Wahib - and it is said Ahayb - ibn Abd Manaf ibn Zuhra ibn Kilab ibn Murrah. He meets with the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - in Kilab ibn Murrah, and the number of fathers between them is close, and his mother is Hamna bint Sufyan ibn Umayya ibn Abd Shams, who did not convert to Islam. He died in Al-`Aqiq in the year fifty-five, and it was said: after that until fifty-eight, and he lived for about eighty years. His saying: (The Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - gathered his parents for me on the day of Uhud) meaning in the ransom, which is his saying: “May my father and mother be sacrificed for you.” And between it is the hadith of Ali that the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - gathered his parents for someone other than Sa`d ibn Malik, for he kept saying to him on the day of Uhud: Shoot, may my father and mother be sacrificed for you, and it was mentioned earlier in the jihad, In this limitation, we consider what was mentioned in the biography of Al-Zubayr, that he - may God bless him and grant him peace - gathered his parents for him on the day of the trench, and he combines them by saying that Ali, may God be pleased with him, did not know about that, or what he meant by that was the restriction of the day of Uhud, and God knows best.
- 3516 - That the companions of the Prophet PBUH said to al-Zubayr on the day of Yarmouk
3516 - Ali bin Hafs narrated to us: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us: Hisham bin Urwah informed us, on the authority of his father: That the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to al-Zubayr on the day of Yarmouk: Why don’t you attack so that we may attack with you? So, he attacked them, and they struck him twice on his shoulder, including a strike he struck on the day of Badr. Urwah said: So, I used to put my fingers in those strikes to play when I was young.
- 3515 - Who will go to Banu Qurayzah and bring me news of them?) So, I set out,
فانطلقت، فلما رجعت جمع لي رسول الله ﷺ أبويه فقال: (فداك أبي وأمي). 3515 - Ahmad ibn Muhammad narrated: Hisham ibn Urwah narrated to us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah ibn al-Zubayr, who said: On the day of the Confederates, I and Umar ibn Abi Salamah were with the women. I looked and saw al-Zubayr on his horse going back and forth to Banu Qurayzah two or three times. When I returned, I said: O my father, did I see you going back and forth? He said: Did you see me, O my son? I said: Yes. He said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, had said: (Who will go to Banu Qurayzah and bring me news of them?) So I set out, and when I returned, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, gathered my parents for me and said: (May my father and mother be sacrificed for you).

This is good hadith. - 3514 - Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awwam,
3514 - Malik bin Ismail told us: Abdul Aziz, he is the son of Abi Salamah, told us, on the authority of Muhammad bin Al-Munkadir, on the authority of Jabir, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Al-Zubayr bin Al-Awwam.) The disciples were called disciples because of the whiteness of their clothes. They were the companion, supporter and backer of every prophet.
- 3512 - Al-Zubayr. He said: Yes. He said: By the One in Who's my soul in His Hand, he was the best of them, as far as I know,
فسكت، قال: فلعلهم قالوا الزبير، قال: نعم، قال: أما والذي نفسي بيده، إنه لخيرهم ما علمت، وإن كان لأحبهم إلى رسول الله ﷺ . 3512 - Khalid bin Mukhallad narrated: Ali bin Masaher narrated on the authority of Hisham bin Urwah, on the authority of his father, who said: Marwan bin Al-Hakam told me: Uthman bin Affan suffered from a severe nosebleed during the year of nosebleeds, to the point that he was prevented from performing Hajj. He made a will, and a man from Quraysh came to him and said: Appoint a successor. He said: And they said so? He said: Yes. He said: Who is he? He remained silent. Then another man came to him - I think he was Al-Harith - and said: Appoint a successor. Uthman said: And they said so? He said: Yes. He said: Who is he? He remained silent. He said: Perhaps they said Al-Zubayr. He said: Yes. He said: By the One in Who's my soul in His Hand , he was the best of them, as far as I know, although he was the most beloved of them to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

- 3498 - he Messenger of God PBUH said: “Tomorrow I will give the banner to a man through whose hands God will grant victory
3498 Qutaybah bin Saeed narrated to us, Abd al-Aziz narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Hazim, on the authority of Sahl bin Saad, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Tomorrow I will give the banner to a man through whose hands God will grant victory.” So the people spent the night groaning, Which of them will be given it? When morning came, the people rushed to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, all of them hoping to be given it. He said, “Where is Ali ibn Abi Talib?” They said, “He is complaining of his eyes, O Messenger of God.” He said, “Send for him and bring him to me.” When he came, he spat in his eyes and prayed for him, and he was healed, as if he had never been afflicted. Then he gave him the banner. Ali said, “O Messenger of God, I will fight them until they are like us. He said, “Proceed at your leisure until you reach their courtyard, then call them to Islam and inform them of what is required of them from the right of God in it. By God, if God guides one man through you, that is better for you than having red camels.”

The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: So I believed in that, as did Abu Bakr and Umar. Abu Salamah said: And they were not among the people that day.

As for what you mentioned about the company of Abu Bakr and his satisfaction, that is only a favor from God Almighty that He bestowed upon me. As for what you see of my grief, It is for your sake and for the sake of your companions. By God, if I had the earth’s gold, I would ransom myself with it from the punishment of God Almighty before I saw Him. Hammad ibn Zayd said: Ayyub told us, on the authority of Ibn Abi Mulaykah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, I entered upon Umar with this.
