5286 - Perhaps rinsing the mouth after drinking milk is a Sunnah

5286 - حدثنا أبو عاصم، عن الأوزاعي، عن ابن شهاب، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله، عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما:أن رسول الله ﷺ شرب لبناً فمضمض، وقال: (إنَّ له دسماً).

[R: 2486]. 5286 - Abu Asim told us, on the authority of al-Awza’i, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Ubayd Allah Ibn Abdullah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, drank milk, rinsed his mouth, and said: “It has fat.”
