6520 - حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد: حدثنا جرير، عن الأعمش، عن إبراهيم، عن علقمة، عن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال: لما نزلت هذه الآية: {الذين آمنوا ولم يلبسوا إيمانهم بظلم}. شق ذلك على أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ، وقالوا: أينا لم يلبس إيمانه بظلم؟ فقال رسول الله ﷺ: (إنه ليس بذلك، ألا تسمعون إلى قول لقمان: {إن الشرك لظلم عظيم}.[:32]
6520 - Qutayba bin Saeed told us: Jarir told us, on the authority of Al-Amash, on the authority of Ibrahim, on the authority of Alqamah, on the authority of Abdullah, may God be pleased with him, who said: When this verse was revealed: {Those who believe and do not confuse their faith with wrongdoing} This was difficult for the companions of the Messenger of God ﷺ, And they said: whose his faith not been clothed with injustice? The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (It is not like that, Do you not listen to Luqman’s saying: {Indeed polytheism is a great injustice} [:32] .
