God is an expert series: You are an expert that:
1 - Every science in the world has an expert. There is an expert in engineering, there is an expert in ophthalmology, there is an expert who appraises furniture and antiques, and so on. Even psychology has experts.
2 - God - the Almighty - in the Qur’an, His name, The Expert, is not mentioned except in the human soul from the inside before the outside, as if it were a clear mirror before the eyes of God, and He wants you, as a believer, to clear your view of things as well, so look with the eyes of God - the Almighty - and God is Most High and Most Knowing.
Allah says
۞ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا قَوَّامِينَ بِالْقِسْطِ شُهَدَاءَ لِلَّهِ وَلَوْ عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَوِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَالْأَقْرَبِينَ ۚ إِن يَكُنْ غَنِيًّا أَوْ فَقِيرًا فَاللَّهُ أَوْلَىٰ بِهِمَا ۖ فَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا الْهَوَىٰ أَن تَعْدِلُوا ۚ وَإِن تَلْوُوا أَوْ تُعْرِضُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا (135)
۞ O you who have believed, be upholders of justice as witnesses to God, even if it is against yourselves or your parents and relatives, whether he is rich or poor, God is more worthy of them both, so, do not follow inclinations lest you be just, and if you turn aside or turn away, then surely Allah is ever expert of what you do. (135)
We benefit from the noble verse the following :
1 - The address is specifically to believers. Faith is not about wishful thinking, nor even about abandoning vices, but rather through work, and at specific times, hard work on the soul, as in this verse that is before us.
2 - It is a practical duty for believers, in critical times when quarreling with family, one or both parents, or corrupt relatives in a such society, to bear witness against them, even if this causes harm to family ties.
3 - Whether this relative is rich and has a great position in society, or poor, the harm to him may be greater than his poverty if he commits an act of corruption in his society, the witness harms his poverty more. In this case, God is more worthy of them, and He knows how societies are harmed so that corruption is not eradicated from its roots and does not spread in society.
4 - Then the divine command comes: not to follow your desires, because the person himself will be harmed by harming the reputation of his entire family, and then God - the Almighty - says to you to think about twisting your neck from following the truth, or do you do something yourself and you do as you not know anything about the matter, and it is only its time for God is expert of what you do, as there is no intelligence body learn what is in yourself, no matter how high its status, unless you are in the position of being accused, and here the testimony is free, not under societal or police pressure.
