First: The Holy Quran which came for the fasting

Allah says

O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become pious (183) A number of days. Then whoever of you is sick or on a journey, then a number of other days, those who bear the ransom must feed a needy. But whoever does good voluntarily, it will be better for him, And that fast is better for you, if you only know (184) The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion, So whoever of you witnesses the month, let him fast it, and whoever is sick or on a journey, let him fast a number of other days, God desires ease for you and does not desire hardship for you, and that you may complete the period, And glorify God for having guided you, And perhaps you will be grateful (185) And when My servants ask you about Me, then I am near. I answer the call of the supplicant when he calls upon me, So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be prudence (186) It is permissible for you on the night of fasting to have sexual intercourse with your wives. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them, God knew that you were rebelling against yourselves, but He turned to you and pardoned you, So now sexual intercourse with them and seek what God has ordained for you, and eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread, then complete the fast until nightfall, and do not interact with them while you are secluded in the mosques, These are the limits of God, so do not approach them. Thus does God make clear His signs to the people that they may become pious {Al-Baqarah: 187}.

We agreed in advance that every action has an intention to benefit, and from this, fasting is a religious action like any other action, except that it has a legal character, Hence, It does not do it without the intention of benefiting, but on the contrary, there is the intention of benefiting, which is (obtaining piety) What is the relationship between abstaining from some permissible things during the day and obtaining piety at the end of the month as a reward? Let us not forget that the first day day of the Eid Al Fitr is called the reward day. Is piety the reward that I will obtain because of fasting? God knows, and with God’s blessings, let us begin with what we take from the noble verses that are with our hands.

1 - O you who believe

An appeal to a limited group of M'mneen : a circle more specific than the general circle of Muslims by name or ID card.

2 - Fasting is prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you

Therefore, it is not an innovation from previous nations, but rather God - the Almighty - in all of His heavenly religions prescribed fasting for those who believe in Him.

3- That you may become righteous

This is the goal of God Almighty’s mercy on this nation: to make it a big goal and small goals to be achieved through tasks, what is important here is day after day fasting for 30 days or less, from man to woman or otherwise, and it is one of the characteristics of the most productive people in life to have a long-term goal, He looks at it every day until it arrives, and this is what happens with us during fasting. We wait for breakfast every day as the completion of one of the tasks, and we wait for the reward day on the day of Eid.

4 - A few days how old are you?

60, 40, 20...etc. Do you feel that this age of your life has passed? It is just a few days, my brother, so take advantage of it, and the spoils are obtained after a battle, (Here is the battle is with yourself) And when you get it, hold on to it as if it were everything in this life, even if you were rich.

5 - So whoever of you is sick or on a journey, then a number of other days.

People have circumstances, some of them have a normal life, some of them are under the burden of war, some of them are sick, some of them, and some of them, so among the future plans, that takes into account individual differences in people’s lives, wise legislation that makes exceptions a share, therefore, whoever plans for 100 years for giant companies and does not take into account the different circumstances of his employees is an unsuccessful plan.

6- Those who pay a ransom must feed a needy, So whoever does good voluntarily, it is better for him, and that you fast is better for you, if you only know, If your financial ability allows and your health does not allow you to fast, or travel frequently, and you can bear to pay the ransom, then do it voluntarily. In another topic, you will learn how many physical, psychological and mental benefits there are from fasting, you are the only beneficiary. Just imagine: God Almighty does not benefit from your fasting. Yes, you are the beneficiary. Whoever volunteers to spend money instead of fasting, it will be better for him, but fasting is better, more comprehensive and will changing your life. Then he concludes this verse by saying, “If you only knew,” didn’t I tell you that you are the beneficiary?

7 - The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion.

The months of the year are many and varied, and the month of Ramadan, since it is in the Arab months, is therefore variable. It is not the month of December, for example. Every year it comes in the winter, rather, someone who has tried fasting one summer in his life may not try it again until after many years of his life, if God Almighty prolongs his life, In the West today: They celebrate International Women's Day and Watermelon Day... I am not being sarcastic. They celebrate every occasion, insignificant or great, as an international day, and we have an international month (the month of Ramadan) They must be making an international day for something because it has something distinct from the rest of the days for this occasion in particular. We have an occasion for the international month (Ramadan) It is the revelation of the Qur’an through it, so it is special, so if you do not listen to the Qur’an in Ramadan, then when? If you do not read the Qur’an and do not count how many times you have read in order to finish and brag in front of people how many times you have completed, then when? If you do not read some of the interpretation so that the verses may guide you and make clear guidance for you, then when, the days pass by and we will all die, do you know your children well? What really bothers them and what they love...etc. So why don’t you understand the Qur’an the first thing you read, just as you read the thoughts of your children, O reader of thoughts, read the thoughts of God Almighty, It is more deserving of benefit than your bragging about reading other people's brains.

8 - So whoever of you witnesses the month, let him fast it, and whoever is sick or on a journey, let him fast a number of other days.

Let him fast: This is a divine command for your benefit, not for God’s benefit.

And whoever is sick: You will have compensation for the year and all the years of your life, God willing, but be mindful and pay attention to what remains of your life.

9 - God desires ease for you and does not desire hardship for you.

Strange, isn't it? Fasting is difficult, tiring and exhausting, and for some people it is almost impossible, and questions are multiplying: What is the wisdom? Why this hard work...etc.. Remember this part of the verse: He wants ease for you, He does not want hardship for you - Do yourself a favor by reading the psychological, mental and physical benefits of fasting during the month of Ramadan, As for the hardship you are talking about, it is not a characteristic of God - the Almighty - and He confirms this to you here so that you can be reassured.

10 - And that you may complete the number of days, and that you may glorify God for having guided you, and that you may be grateful.

Complete the 30 days, O believer. Say from within yourself and from your heart (God is Great), why? To guide the Muslim nation to the best type of fasting ever, intermittent dry fasting for your health, psychology, and mind, He did not guide previous nations with heavenly laws to what He guided you to, and you neglect it, and perhaps you are among those who are thankful. What is the meaning of this? There are different types of gratitude, my brother: it includes the gratitude of the tongue that does not come from the heart, and it includes the gratitude of the heart, (A thankful heart as a the truth) Among them is the gratitude of the limbs, and you: How did you thank? Have you ever had Ramadan in your life and thanked God for its presence in your life, while you were alive and not dead? sound, he is not sick. Have you thanked God from your heart for that? If you did not do it one day, now: Give thanks for the blessing of Ramadan, for it is a blessing from God.

11 - And when My servants ask you about Me, then I am near. I answer the call of the supplicant when he calls upon me.

What is the relationship: I fast and my Lord speaks to me about fasting and its benefits (if you know) and then He speaks to me about how He answers supplications. So understand what God Almighty is about when you want some benefit from your manager at work, You know that it is difficult for him to agree to this interest, and even if you are promoted and you do not deserve it due to your work, are you not trying to please him? You're trying, aren't you? Fasting is tantamount to pleasing God Almighty, It is one of the best forms of closeness through which you can draw closer to God - the Almighty - so if you complete your fast without gossip (initiation between people), without (backbiting), without malice, grudges, envy, and other things that discourage good deeds, so supplicate while you understand about God. You are the one who responds to the call. The supplication is answered. Pray and you are certain of the answer. It is not upon God - the Almighty - to work, no, no, but rather by making an effort to complete the worship in the way that pleases Him, then turn completely to His noble face, to carry out your interests, your interests with him are not with your manager, your interests with him are not in the hands of acquaintances, your interests with him are not in the hands of your father or your mother... now, now.

12 - So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be prudence (186)

What is the quality of the response? It is to complete worship in the way he wants, not what you do, and let them believe in me: Aren’t we believers enough? It seems that we are not, If we remember the Almighty’s saying (and in heaven there is provision for you and what you are promised), we would refrain from many things that we do. Why, Lord, the response and faith (perhaps they will be prudence ) and what is prudence? A man is sensible: he is right, he is guided, he is upright, he knows the path of righteousness, or he disposes of money well, From the last: You will be more rational, you will be mature and no one will laugh at you, I will fast and in the end I will be mature, what is the relationship? Eating and drinking are hidden desires of the soul that only two types of people can sublimates: things All of us, most of us, are immersed in this blindingly, why? It is said: Btnah: " extreme fullness of food" takes away intelligence and the mind is called reason only because it protects its bearer from falling into danger, and God is Most High and Most Knowing.

13 - It is lawful for you on the night of fasting to have sexual intercourse with your wives. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. God knew that you were rebelling against yourselves, so he turned. upon you and pardoned you, so now have peace with them and seek what God has decreed for you.

One of the greatness of this religion is that it is not fasting from a specific type of food or fasting for long months that deprives the body of its requirements, but it is fasting that does not deprive the body but rather refines the spirit and gains immunity that strengthens the body in a better way.

14 - And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread, then complete the fast until night, and do not bond with them while you are If you spend time in the mosques, those are the limits of God, so do not approach them.

A Provisions let us abide by them

15 - Thus does God make clear His signs to the people that they may become pious. {Al-Baqarah: 187}.

God - the Almighty - explained to us the legitimacy, rulings, and the ideal method for fasting. Note: God did not teach us in the noble verses that a drop breaks the fast or that backbiting eats up good deeds, Rather, he left that for the purified Sunnah, which we will talk about shortly. As for what was stated in the Qur’an regarding the obligation of fasting: It talked about reason, maturity, maturity, and piety. So do you leave the virtuous to less than that?

Second: The Purified Sunnah
The reward of those who fast
The heaven

Al-Bukhari’s wording: There is a gate in Paradise called Al-Rayyan through which those who fast will enter on the Day of Resurrection, no one except them will enter from it. It is said, “Where are the fasting people?” They stand up and no one except them will enter from it. If they enter, it is closed and no one enters from it.

The forgiveness of sin

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (Whoever prays Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.) Agreed upon.

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: (Whoever prays the Night of Fate out of faith and seeking reward, His previous sins will be forgiven.) Agreed upon.

Stay away from fire

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (Fasting is a shield and a strong fortress from Hell) Narrated by Ahmed.

A reason to answer supplications

On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (Three supplications are not rejected: the supplication of a father, the supplication of a fasting person, and the supplication of a traveler) It was narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Sunan, and Al-Dia’ in Al-Ahadith Al-Mukhtara, and its chain of transmission is good.

One of the types of intercession on the Day of Resurrection

On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (Fasting and the Qur’an will intercede for the servant on the Day of Resurrection, Fasting says: Oh Lord, I prevented him from food and desires during the day, Fasting says: Oh Lord, I prevented him from food and desires during the day, so let me intercede for him, The Qur’an says: I prevented him from sleeping at night, so let me interceded for me on his behalf so, they intercede.” Narrated by Ahmad.

The blessing and the presence of angels at suhoor

On the authority of Amr bin Al-Aas, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (A separation between our fasting and the fasting of the People of the Book who eat pre-dawn prayers) Narrated by Muslim.

On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (Suhoor is eaten with blessings; do not leave it, even if one of you drinks a sip of water; For God Almighty and His angels pray over those who wear suhoor.” Narrated by Ahmad and Ibn Hibban.

On the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (Indeed, God and His angels send blessings upon those who wear suhoor.) Narrated by Ibn Hibban.

On the authority of Al-Miqdam bin Maadi Karb, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:   (You should eat the suhoor lunch, for it is the blessed lunch.) Narrated by Al-Nasa’i.

Of course, you are an expert: We pray and hope for an answer from God, and some of us accept His obedience and some do not. As for the angels, they are honorable servants who do not sin like us, so their supplications are inevitably answered. So pray for yourself and the nation at suhoor, for it is a prayer that is guaranteed ( Amen above it) by the angels and is therefore not rejected.
The reward is from God - the Almighty - directly

On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (God Almighty said: Every action of the son of Adam is for him except fasting; it is for Me and I will reward for it, Fasting is a shield, and if it is a day for one of you to fast, he should not be intercourse with women, nor be loud. If someone insults him or fights him, he should say: I am a fasting person, and by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell of the mouth of a fasting person is better to God than the scent of musk, The fasting person has two joys: when he breaks his fast he rejoices, and when he meets his Lord he rejoices in his fasting) Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

We will not talk about the Noble Hadith except in one part only

Fasting is for me and I will reward it

Note: All Islamic laws (Hajj and Umrah - Zakat - Prayer...) are all based on God - the Almighty - so why did he single out fasting as “His” perhaps for the following reasons:

1 - Through it is the monitoring of God - the Almighty - no one, no matter how much he watches you, is superior to the monitoring of God - the Almighty - so no one truly knows whether you are breaking the fast or fasting.

2 - He urged me to fast while he did not benefit - Glory be to Him - so who benefits?

3 - The reward for all deeds is written by the angels, except for fasting. It is written directly with God, and He is the one who rewards it with a worldly reward (piety and maturity) and an afterlife reward that we do not really know. All we know is entering through the Gate of Al-Rayyan.

Acceptable fasting, God willing. Oh God, accept our small deeds before the big ones, remove from them those that frustrate deeds, and accept them from us with good acceptance.

And remember what good acceptance is?

There is an act of worship that is unacceptable - God forbid - the one who performs it takes pains to work and it is not accepted from him

(It was accepted from one of them but not from the other)

There is acceptable worship, not with acceptable appreciation, but with appreciation for excellence - if so to speak -

(So her Lord accepted her with good acceptance.)

And you have to choose. May God accept good deeds from us and from you.
