Allah says
﴿ أَفَأَمِنَ الَّذِينَ مَكَرُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَنْ يَخْسِفَ اللَّهُ بِهِمُ الْأَرْضَ أَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ فِي تَقَلُّبِهِمْ فَمَا هُمْ بِمُعْجِزِينَ أَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ عَلَى تَخَوُّفٍ فَإِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ ﴾
“Do those who plot evil deeds feel secure that God will cause the earth to swallow them up, or will the torment come to them from where they do not perceive, or he takes them in their fluctuations,so, they are not incapable* or He seizes them in fear, for indeed your Lord is Compassionate, Merciful.
In the authentic hadith narrated by Al-Tirmidhi - may God have mercy on him -
On the authority of Aisha - may God be pleased with her - she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “At the end of the nation there will be an eclipse, mutilation, and stone throwing. Aisha - may God be pleased with her - said: O Messenger of God, shall we perish while among us are the righteous? He said: “Yes, if malice appears.”
What is meant by malice: immorality, immorality, and sin.
And at Ahmed
“The Hour will not come until a tribe is eclipsed, and it is said: Who is left of the children of so-and-so?”
Al-Tirmidhi narrated - and the hadith is authentic -
